This single has been another highly anticipated release for her fans.
Rachel is a NYC-based artist. She got her start in the music industry with an A&R internship working at a record label.
She realized then that her true passion was creating and sharing her own music.
Her musical influences range from Lana Del Rey, Maggie Rogers, Julia Michaels, and Lorde. With almost 50,000 monthly listeners on Spotify, Bochner is paving her own way and making herself known in the music industry.
Rachel’s passion lies in making pop music that relate to people who have been through the good, the bad, the heavy, and the lighthearted.
“hating myself in the summer” brings more awareness to the struggles many, especially women, go through on a daily basis with body image.
Here’s to learning how to love ourselves, one day at a time.
“I wrote this song as a way to vent about the constant (and annoying) battle going on in my head about my body image. I know I should love myself as I am, but it’s so hard to shut out the voices and pressures and norms telling you that the way you are isn’t good enough.”
